U.S. Builders Review partners with Greenbuild International Conference and Expo

Summary: In an effort to broaden its audience reach, Greenbuild International Conference and Expo (Greenbuild), the world’s largest conference dedicated to promoting green construction principles, has partnered with U.S. Builders Review, a nationally recognized trade publication. The partnership provides both parties with an opportunity to further educate laypeople and industry professionals alike about the benefits of green building.

With a nationwide audience of construction industry executives, contractors, developers and leaders, US Builders Review offers to companies across the country an opportunity to connect with fellow professionals. Now, with a recent partnership with Greenbuild, US Builders Review will spotlight the green building community and the upcoming Greenbuild 2014 conference.

Greenbuild is the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building, annually attracting over 23,000 attendees and 750 exhibitors from across the green building sector. These individuals include architects, builders/contractors, designers, engineers, sustainability experts, thought leaders, educators, students and emerging professionals.

Following an enormously successful 2013 conference in Philadelphia, 2014’s theme of “Leadership Jazz” will showcase “the music of the green building movement.” The Morial Convention Center, in New Orleans, plays host to the event, where thousands of innovators, experts and proponents will meet, learn and share. “The Big Easy is the perfect setting to celebrate this global impact, while also embracing the essence of community, culture and soul,” announces Lindsay Roberts, Greenbuild’s show director.

“Sustainability through the construction process has been a growing initiative across the industry,” says Sean O’Reilly, senior editorial director of US Builders Review. “The Greenbuild Conference offers us a glimpse of the future. Thousands of brilliant minds have been working to allow us a more efficient, environmentally friendly building process, and at Greenbuild we get the chance to learn about the cutting-edge products they have toiled over.”

Greenbuild 2014 begins Wednesday, Oct. 22 and continues through Friday, Oct. 24. The expo will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., offering plenty of time to network with and learn from members of the green community.

The education program at Greenbuild begins Monday, Oct. 20, with tours of New Orleans; Tuesday features various summits and LEED workshops; the core education sessions run Wednesday, Oct. 22, through Friday, Oct. 24; and the week concludes with more tours Saturday.

Conference hours vary depending on which seminars or educational events are taking place. (Check online for a full list of events.) A highlight of the annual conference is the renowned Greenbuild Master Series, which showcases leaders of various industries who share common beliefs for promoting sustainability and green building. Past speakers include Twitter Founder Biz Stone, President Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore, Ret. Gen. Colin Powell and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

Online attendee registration for Greenbuild is currently available at www.greenbuildexpo.com, and pricing varies depending on the number of days and events attending. Moreover, an early bird pricing discount is available for anyone who purchases tickets before Aug. 14, 2014.

Testimonials

Thank you all your efforts in putting together such a great article about our company in US Builders Review. DH Construction appreciates the professional manner in which your team worked with us to achieve the stateside exposure we were after; especially taking the time to get all of the facts correct. In short, the article was extremely well put together and we have already received a great deal of feedback, interest, and compliments as a result of the piece. Once again, we appreciate all the effort, and without a doubt, we will not hesitate to work with your organization again in the future.
— Daniel Harrigan, Principal, DH Construction
Kyle Gahm was instrumental in coordinating this project from beginning to end. He was always available and a pleasure to work with. It would be a pleasure to work with Kyle down the road. Bill Keaton was very impressive in raising money from advertising which resulted in ASE getting the cover story, so thank you Bill. Lia Prysunka and Jeanee Dudley are both very impressive individuals who deserve a lot of credit for this featured piece. They were both very patient and accepting of any changes we suggested. The format, quality, and resolution was awesome. To sum it all up: Our upper management, who never have been high on PR and things of this nature said that it was "absolutely fantastic" and were blown away. They now are requesting multiple copies of the full magazine and are very proud of the work you all put in. Thanks again.

Working with Kyle at TrueLine Publishing was a great experience. We are quite pleased with how the article about Souder Brothers turned out. The magazine article and photo spread is going to be a very effective tool to use in our marketing. If you have the opportunity to be featured in a project like this, I would recommend doing it. Kyle and his team made the whole process very smooth and we are happy to have been a part of the latest edition of US Builders Review.

My experience with US Builders Review was positive from start to finish. The staff conducted each interaction with the utmost professionalism, whether over the phone or by email. Beginning with the initial telephone interview US Builders Review carefully gathered information to form a draft document then incorporated my minimal edits required to achieve factual accuracy in the finished article.
