WBP spun off from G. Proulx LLC (Proulx), a South Florida-based supplier of building materials. WBP came as a natural extension of Proulx’s business as an abundance of clients looked to find a reliable exporter of building materials that would invest equally in the success of a client’s overseas opportunities. Proulx’s longevity in the marketplace provided WBP with the longstanding vendor relationships to ensure WBP could support customers across the Caribbean.

WBP represents products from leading manufacturers in every respective construction division, including brands such as Georgia Pacific, Owens Corning, National Gypsum and Tyvek, among many American-made others. WBP updates the company’s product lineup to continually incorporate new products and special requests. However, the company maintains a staple inventory of dimensional lumber, framing, drywall products, acoustical ceiling tiles, insulation, roofing, rebar, access doors, trims and bagged goods like cement and plaster. WBP also offers clients a wide variety of tools and equipment in every price point to get the job done right and on time. In addition, WBP has numerous vendors to call upon for specialized items.

Armed with 200,000 square feet of warehouse space in both Hollywood and Jacksonville, Fla., as well as a team of roughly 70 professionals, WBP is equipped to deliver its export expertise. Aside from WBP’s ability to deliver each order to shipping lines and freight forwarders using its own fleet of modern day trucks, the company also provides rack and container loading and consolidating services at its facility.
