After much anticipation, the wait is finally over — Greenbuild 2014 has arrived! Day one of the expo opened at 9:30 this morning and our team was there bright and early to join in the fun.
With only hours prior to the expo hall being open to thousands of attendees, Ian and Ryan, our US Builders Review reps, met up with each of our 2014 Editor’s Choice companies to set up iPad and laptop displays of their custom digital brochure cover photos. In addition to taking some really cool pics, which you can find on Twitter, the guys also passed out information regarding ways to connect with other inudstry-leading businesses on our website and social media networks.
Here are 3 lessons Ian and Ryan learned their first day at Greenbuild:
1. WaterFence‘s Steve McDowell is pretty smart. As a high school student and inventor, he is drawing a great deal of attention for his innovative new product.
2. Aeroseal has been very busy answering questions from attendees. Interestingly enough, the gentleman working at their booth worked on every project pictured in their digital brochure!
3. Do not tell anyone you rode in a cab to the Greenbuild Conference & Expo unless you carpooled with other attendees. That’s a green faux pas.
That wraps up day one of Greenbuild 2014! The conference will start up again Thursday morning and continue to the weekend with workshops, evening events, and many more opportunities to learn more about the exhibiting companies. Ian, Ryan and the rest of the US Builders Review team will be sending in more updates throughout the conference, so stay tuned!
