All Good Home Inc.

Going the Extra Mile for Homeowners with Full Service HVAC & Remodeling

working to improve the lives of homeowners in the greater Washington, D.C., metro area through quality HVAC service, installations and repair. “We have been working in the building trades for many years, going back to the early ’90s,” shares Dave Pugh, owner and CEO of All Good Home. “We are a family company that started with the idea that great customer service comes from a hands-on approach to doing business. Having a small company gives us the ability to personally handle many of the questions and concerns of our customers.”
Pugh founded the Maryland-based HVAC provider to serve the residential and light-commercial markets. Since inception, the company has expanded its array of services to include a range of heating, cooling, remodeling and energy-management solutions.
All Good Home offers heating products and services to keep homeowners warm and cozy: everything from gas furnaces and heat pumps to boilers and electric units, both ducted and ductless. On the opposite end of the spectrum, All Good Home delivers home cooling, including air conditioners and heat pumps, again doing both ducted units and ductless units.
Beauty and Brains
Aside from ensuring expertly installed and maintained HVAC systems, All Good Home also assists in energy audits and management. “We’ll evaluate your home or business for energy waste and suggest improvements,” says Pugh.
Pugh has set high expectations for All Good Home. “Through our pursuits in HVAC we have also been trained to recognize building shell vulnerabilities and evaluate them to make homes and buildings more efficient and less susceptible to heat loss or gain and convection through loose construction practices over the last century,” he continues. “With this residential and light-commercial energy-loss training and knowledge we have set ourselves apart by taking the approach that priority should be given to how efficient a project is, as well as how beautiful.”
Keeping a home’s vital systems up and running efficiently is All Good Home’s No. 1 priority, but the company is also capable of performing kitchen, bath, deck and other types of remodels. “While residential remodeling is something we do, we mostly perform mechanical services for HVAC and water-heating appliances and the repair, replacement and service of those systems,” details Pugh. “Our expertise in all phases sets us apart from most remodelers and HVAC companies.”
It’s All Good under One Roof
The company resides in Annapolis, Md., serving its home state, as well as parts of Virginia and the greater Washington, D.C., metro area. “We’ve remained a fairly small operation,” shares Pugh. “We still only have a handful of employees, some part-time and some full-time. We’re backed by a full complement of subcontractors that assist us when needed, but we handle all HVAC projects and small remodels in-house.”
All Good Home offers full design, demolition, construction, renovation, repair and remodeling services for any residential or light-commercial HVAC or home improvement need. “We can provide more space for you and your family through additions and creative solutions that open up your home to the outdoors,” explains Pugh.
Pugh shares some of the company’s most current projects. “We have just completed a small kitchen remodel in Hyattsville, Md.,” he recounts. “We are also replacing a 30-ton chiller system for a church. Another project we are working on is a remodel and HVAC installation where we are removing blown insulation in an attic and foam spraying it airtight, adding two ducted heat pump systems, an air ventilator, a generator, an electrical heavy up and more home improvements, such as painting, trim, flooring and some plumbing fixtures.”
According to Pugh, more large projects are in All Good Home’s future. “We are working on a proposal for a large property management company to renovate a condo building with 64 units,” he reveals. “We’re going to upgrade the units and turn the whole project into a more efficient building; this will include building shell, insulation, weatherization, mechanical, water and electrical upgrades and renovations.”
Customers agree that All Good Home’s quality service is tried-and-true. “We were so cold on a Saturday in all that snow when you came to fix our heat,” a customer writes. “We can’t thank you enough for taking care of us although we called after hours. We will recommend you to all of our friends, many thanks and blessings to your company.”
No matter the need – heating, cooling or a new remodel – All Good Home Inc. is there to make homeowners’ lives a little easier.
